A very short list:

• FSNotes and Obsidian are my writing tools of choice. FSNotes because it has a European developer and is open source; Obsidian because, while it is not open source, the developers have been upfront about why.
• Zola, the static site generator I used to build this site. Free and open source.
• Fonts are IM Fell (available from Google Fonts) and Fontin Sans, which you’re reading now, by Jos Buivenga at Exljbris. I love IM Fell’s rough, aged look; it is reminiscent of type you see on a well-thumbed, printed page.
